What is Delf?

DELF stands for Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française, which means “Diploma in French Language Studies.”

It’s an internationally recognised certificate awarded by the French Ministry of Education.

MMP Kids follows the DELF Prim pathway — made especially for children aged 7 to 12.

Our curriculum focuses on A1.1 to A1, the first two beginner levels.

How MMP Helps

MMP Kids is built around the official DELF Prim A1.1 framework to help young learners confidently build their French skills.

We cover all 6 key units in a fun, story-based format:

  • Unit 1 – Je me présente (Introducing myself)

  • Unit 2 – À l’école (At school)

  • Unit 3 – Mes activités, mes loisirs (My activities and hobbies)

  • Unit 4 – Les gens que j’aime (People I love)

  • Unit 5 – Chez moi (At home)

  • Unit 6 – Mes vacances et mes fêtes (My holidays and celebrations)

Each video, song, and printable is designed to support the 4 core DELF exam skills:

  • 🎧 Listening

  • 🗣️ Speaking

  • 📖 Reading

  • ✍️ Writing

By following these units, kids gradually build up vocabulary, sentence structure, and confidence — all while having fun!

Can My Child Take The Exam?

Yes! The DELF Prim A1.1 is for complete beginners and is ideal for ages 7–12.

It’s not a requirement, but a great way to measure progress and earn an official French certificate.

MMP helps prepare your child through stories, songs, and practice games — all aligned with what they’ll see in the exam.
